We also carry wheat straw in a small square bale that weighs approximately 75lbs.
Arizona has the perfect climate for growing and harvesting forage products. The proper curing process can be implemented easier with the hot temperatures along with the extremely low humidity.
Baling usually takes place in the early morning hours around 2:00a.m. to 3:00a.m. to catch the dew. This adds just enough moisture to keep the product from shattering and losing all the leaf. It helps the bale to flake off easier at feeding time.
